I don't have to be the person I was. I don't have to remain the person I am and I can become the person I desire to be.

No Definition

Thankfully my past doesn't define me. My today doesn’t restrain me. But my tomorrow inspires me.

Any Time Friend

"A true friend stands with us in times of trial"... and when called, only asks , "How can I help?". Are you someone your friends would call a “2 a.m. Friend”? Anne Cetas

Heavy Load

Life is hard enough with the weight of your own burdens. You increase the load when you try to carry other's burdens too. It's okay not to have the solution to everyone else's problems, as long as you are being the best supportive friend you can be.

Have To Be's

Life is full of things that we may not be able to change-those “have to be's”, but it's also ripe full of things over which we have the ultimate control. So, instead of focusing on those things that “have to be”, make a list of those things that you can and would like to change and start working towards crossing them off your list.

Angry You

YOU-angry, sleepless, frustrated, plotting and vengeful. The object (person) of your anger is happy (and oblivious). What's wrong with this picture?? Redirect your energy!!

Regret is a useless unless it propels you forward.

Numbers Game

Isn't it funny how numbers rule our lives if we let them?? A number on the scale can wreak a good day. A number on a paycheck can make us doubt our worth and even the number of “friends and followers” we have on social media can affect us. Don't buy into it!!

Do It

Everything you try won't be successful. Everything you don't will fail. It's worth an effort.

B Line

Take a hint from the tiny bee. After gathering nectar, the bee flies straight back to the hive to make a deposit. You can do that too by getting straight to the point in organizing. Don't "stop and drop", instead, "make and take" (make the effort) and (take the extra step) to get your items to the proper place. An example-don't take anything off at the front door, just go straight to your room and put them away.

I am Dr. Darnita L. Payden, Executive Director/Owner of Dr. DClutter™ Life Management, a division of PreciousOnes™ LLC. I have a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and over 20 years of experience working to help clients discover their strengths and talents. Having worked as a therapist, college professor, grief specialist and trainer, I have encountered in my journey many of the issues my clients may face. I have a sincere desire to help you find clarity, organization and independence in your life and environments. I know that life can be hectic, but I desire to help my clients bring as much order, peace and enjoyment back into their lives as is possible. What separates me from the norm? I focus on the client from a holistic perspective. I realize that most people desire a functional and an organized life, but may simply need support, understanding and information about why they have the habits or tendencies that have led to disorganization. I do not perform “quick fixes” or provide “one-size-fits-all” guidance, but I strive to provide strategies to my clients that will be life changing and useful for a lifetime. Dr. DClutter™ is a name well earned!!
