Smead Tag Along™ organizer

How many of you have watched the shows about couponing? I have and am always fascinated (and a little scared) by the concentration and devotion of those people to save money. While you and I may not go to that “extreme” we can all benefit from saving money in this tight economy, wouldn't you agree? Couponing doesn't have to consume your life, but you should make an effort to use coupons for purchases you were planning to make anyway. One handy way to organize all of that “free money” is to use a product like Smead's Tag Along™ organizer. It's the perfect size to fit in a small purse (or in my case-a large one-who's with me?), a back pack or just to hold in your hand. It comes in 2 delicious and tranquil sounding colors (chocolate/moss and chocolate/lake blue), for the fashion forward, and includes 5 pockets and stick-on pre-printed labels (plus 5 blank labels).
To ensure you don't lose any of the “found money”, there’s a flap and elastic cord to keep everything safe. Don't limit your use to coupons, use the Tag Along™ for receipts, recipes, business cards or anything else that you need to keep in a handy, dandy, toteable format. They're so compact, you could have a few for different uses. What other ways can you envision using the Tag Along™organizer?

Products are provided free by Smead for review.

Strengths or Weaknesses

We all like to believe that we are strong individuals, and that's probably true. But, if we are honest with ourselves, we may also have more weaknesses than strengths (Pressley). For some, that may be a difficult statement to accept-but it doesn't have to be a negative reflection of self. Our areas of weakness are simply opportunities for improvement and growth!!

Money Matters

Money is necessary. Money is important (to many of us). Most of us would prefer to have more than less of it. So, how are you as a money manager? Are you like E.F. Hutton where if you speak, people listen because you've done such a great job with your finances? Or, are you the one who is afraid of the ringing phone for fear it might be a bill collector? Are you the one who is wondering if they still have "poor houses" because that's where you'll live if you don't get control of your finances? Or are you somewhere in the middle? Money, like any other area of your life needs to be managed, but you can't do that if you don't have a realistic view of your finances. Whether you seek the help of a professional money manager or simply take a close, hard look at your finances on your own-just do it!!

Wasted Breath

Complaining is simply wasted breath if you don't seek a solution and then use it.

Fearful??

Do you fear your own greatness, thus allowing a self-fulfilling prophesy to limit your own possibilities?

Appreciation

I've had many, many jobs in my life. Some I liked and some I hated, but I can truly say that each one taught me something about appreciation. One that really sticks out in my mind was the morgue. I helped families during the identification process of their loved one and every time I entered the building I knew that I would be granted the opportunity to help a family through arguably one of the most difficult times of their lives. It made me appreciate life even more. What job or profession along your journey has taught you the most and why?

Chicken or Owl?

Are you a chicken or an owl? I'm an early riser and prefer to get up, get it over and get on with life. Are you like me, up with the chickens or are you more of an owl, finding it more productive to perform tasks later in the day? It's advantageous to know your "productivity personality" when planning your day. You'll be more likely to complete that daily "chore list" if you plan activities when your energy level is at its highest peak.

Opposites Attract??

Remember Felix and Oscar, the "Odd Couple"? Felix was the neatnik and Oscar, well, Oscar was organizationally challenged. If it possible for two completely opposite personalities to peacefully cohabitate and not destroy the relationship? What opposites exist in your life?

Emotionally Charged

Someone once told me that I never seem to get angry. While appreciated, it's not true. I experience the gamut of most human emotions, but do my best to make sure that, as much as is possible, I control my negative emotions and that they don't control me. If you could eliminate one negative emotion, which one would it be and why?

Gratitude Welcomed

Often we give so much of ourselves that it seems precious little is left for us; we seem to give and give and get little in return. While gratitude is always appreciated, it may not always be given. So, take this approach: harness all of the pure joy that exists from your truly altruistic acts and know that even if you seem unappreciated, your deeds are a blessing to someone in need.

I do not perform “quick fixes” or provide “one-size-fits-all” guidance, but I strive to provide strategies to my clients that will be life changing and useful for a lifetime.
